Business Case: Jumbo Electronics
Well, There is large shopping store called Jumbo Electronics. Jumbo used to sell types of electronics items such as TV, Mobile Phones, Camera, other electronics items. The store has specific area designated for special product. There are two floors and each floor has their predefined products. Jumbo stores is a nicely laid out store with clearly marked locations on each floor.
Requirements (Participants needs to provide appropriate approach for mapping these in Oracle Inventory)
Ensure that products are stacked only on given floor (ground and first floor)
It has been found that mobiles and cameras on-floor stocks are not matching with Oracle Inventory system, Design a systematic inventory accuracy maintenance system (long-term and short-term ) for Jumbo Electronics
If there is any discrepancy between on-floor stock count against the system, then store in-charge attention required. Without his consent, no adjustment been posted.
Store in-charge all of sudden found that a glass product box (set of 12 items) has been damaged; he needs to immediately reconcile this product inventory so that further order can be placed with supplier. Advice how to reconcile damaged glass product box.
